Donatellos Reviews

We had an amazing night at Donatello's in Maynooth on Friday, 17th July, with my work colleagues. From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was second to none.

A special mention has to go to Niamh, who looked after us very well. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Her service was genuinely 10/10 and really helped make the night so enjoyable.

We all had a brilliant evening and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Donatello's to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for a memorable night!

had a really great experience at Donatello Bar in Maynooth. This wasn’t my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. Every time I come here, the atmosphere is welcoming and enjoyable.

What really stands out is the staff. They are friendly, attentive, and you can clearly see that they genuinely enjoy what they do. Their positive attitude makes the whole experience even better.

It’s always a pleasure to visit, and I would highly recommend Donatello Bar to anyone looking for a great place to relax and have a good time.

Cozy feel restaurant. Food was really nice. Good size portions. Staff were very friendly. Fabulous cocktails. Quite expensive. Would go again as a special treat.

I have been here mutiple times but I will not be returning here again. Given that the food is quite nice, I have given the restaurant a few goes but have made up my mind to not step foot in here again. I cannot deny that the food here is delicious but I do not think it's worth it as the service eveytime I was here is slow, very slow. You are put on time limit to stay yet they take ages tk take your order, let alone then when they do, it takes them even longer to serve you. I have spent more time sitting and waiting in this restaurant that actually eating and enjoying. I understand the standards of the food prepared are reflected in the price but at the price you pay, you definitely expect better service than what Donatello's provides. The staff are nice but are very quick and snappy, it's like you're being rushed out the doorbefore you even see the food, but yet the food then takes ages to come so then I ask what's the rush for them? It's disappointing as the food is good but will not be returning as I really do not thinks worth it. I think other options of restaurants across the street or next door are much better shout than Donatello's. I do wish them all the best and that they do reflect on this feedback as I was assured by the locals they were not used to be like this. Also do note that parking at busy times is also quite difficult, so do arrive a bit earlier for bookings if you happen to go here.

Really nice meal in Donatellos, the prawn starter was delicious, a very generous portion of prawns, the pizza was really good and for dessert I had a lovely tirimisu , looking forward to going back
